Tenants, neighbors and housing activists rallied on Aug. 7 in front of 1569 Lexington Ave. in East Harlem, part of the 38 building former Emerald Equity Group portfolio, shouting “Buyer Beware,” pushing for a new owner willing to invest and not simply focus on income.
